We offer high-quality, hilarious, interactive, and uniquely coastal improv comedy. Unlike stand-up, Improv comedy takes suggestions from the audience and uses them to inspire scenes, games, and even feature length plays. We create one of a kind comedy experiences especially for you based on your ideas. Although audience participation is always encouraged, we don’t put anyone on the spot. Come join us for a show!.
Coast Improv Comedy Showdown is a competitive improv format perfect for the whole family, featuring classic high-energy games, big characters, and lots more. Improv Comedy Social gives improvisers a chance to enjoy a looser style of improv, created exclusively for an adult audience. This monthly show, hosted at the Roberts Creek Legion, showcases classic short-form games in the first half and challenges the cast with eye-opening, non-stop formats in the second half. Classes
Coast Improv is always looking for new members and primarily welcomes them through our Intro and Essentials classes. Get involved and spend your evenings laughing with us.
Intro to Improv Comedy focuses on simple improvisational methods, with an emphasis on having a good time and proving that your first, obvious choice is usually the best one. It’s natural to feel nervous, but we always create a fun, safe environment where you can feel comfortable exploring improvisation. This class is offered FREE, no experience necessary. Space is limited, so sign up early.
Improv Essentials is our five-week class covering exactly what you’d expect: the essential skills to start improvising. Offered in partnership with SCRD Recreation, the class explores impulse, story, and character, and gets you playing improv games with a new group of funny classmates. No experience necessary.
